We run Saturday School classes for children aged 9-11 (Years 5 & 6) in preparation for the secondary transfer exams early in Year 6. Children join our small groups for different reasons - perhaps they are hoping to enter a particular independent or state school, or would simply like to enhance their current academic performance.
Our classes reinforce existing skills in Maths and English in line with the National Curriculum and prepare children for Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning tests. Past papers from the Independent School Exam Board and individual independent schools are used to build familiarity with the material and improve exam technique, and all classes are led by fully qualified and experienced teachers. We aim to ensure that every child can approach their exams well-prepared, with confidence and a positive attitude. To this end, we also hold a practice exam once a year to give pupils a taste of exam conditions. Please get in touch to find out more.
Classes run for two hours every Saturday morning in term-time, in a number of South and West London locations.
